Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our specialty internal medicine team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level technical support during outpatient consultations, diagnostic procedures (including ultrasound, endoscopy, and interventional radiology), and inpatient medical care.
  • Perform advanced nursing duties, including venipuncture, IV catheterization, urinary catheterization, anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, and nutritional support.
  • Assist in the preparation, induction, and monitoring of anesthesia for procedures requiring sedation or general anesthesia under DVM supervision.
  • Collect, prepare, and process laboratory samples for internal and external diagnostics with strict adherence to quality control standards.
  • Accurately maintain detailed medical records, diagnostic imaging logs, treatment sheets, and client communication summaries.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients regarding patient status, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing care.
  • Support the maintenance of specialized equipment and clinical areas to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
  • Participate actively in patient rounds, case discussions, and ongoing training initiatives within the hospital.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) preferred; candidates with strong technical experience in specialty or high-level general practice medicine will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary clinical practice strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in advanced technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, diagnostic imaging support, catheterization, and inpatient nursing care.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing clinical demands in a specialty environment.
